The benefit of our safe, large outdoor garden area means that our children can play, exercise and develop their motor skills using a variety of outdoor toys and supervised activities.

The playground is supervised at all times and is sectioned accordingly with safety gates. Our children can enjoy the garden that runs along the side of the playground where we have several orange and lemon trees growing. Our older children will also be invited to participate in gardening activities where they will be taught and shown aspects of nature. 

Our children can enjoy a vast array of our outside activities during their time at the nursery. These include learning to walk, run, skip, jump, as well as learning to ride on a choice of outside ride-ons. Moreover, our children will be encouraged to explore sand/water activities and messy play.

During the warmer summer months extra care and attention is taken to ensure our children remain safe whilst playing in the sun. It is compulsory that all children come to the nursery with sun hats and previously applied sunscreen. The main playground area will be covered to ensure our children can play safely during such times. This matter is taken very seriously by the Orange Tree management and we encourage parents to comply with us so that our children can maximise their playing opportunities.
